I'm moving to Florida!

Wait. I'm already in Florida, not that you'd know it by this morning's low of 24 degrees. Thank gawd for global warming is all I can say. Who knows how much colder it might have been without all these greenhouse gasses heating up the planet.

Well, if you check around, it turns out that they ain't using the phrase "Global Warming" so much any more.

I mean, it still works in August in Dallas when it's so friggin' hot that even your basic frigid Southern Belle is sweating like a field hand, but this time of year, when you're digging out of 12' of snow in three days, and it's so cold you have to chip your nutsack loose from your leg every couple of hours, "Global Warming" sounds more like a bad leftist joke.

So nowadays it's called "Global Climate Change."

This way every time the chaotic system known as our atmosphere does anything chaotic, whether it turns out hot, cold, windy, or voting Republican, it can be blamed on Evil 'Mercans and their lifestyle.

Which is only fair.

Welcome to ACC Jokester and medvegonok. I'm not blogging as much as I did, but come by any time.

AD? I remember in the mid-70s when the environuts were foaming about the aerosol used in spray cans, and how it was going to block the sun's rays causing a global ICE age.

With the predicted low tonight (tomorrow morning, actually) here of 25 degrees, I not only support global warming but without equivocation, climate change, too, since according to the weatherjerks Tuesday will be in the low 70s.

The global cooling money dried up in the eighties. Al Gore sold his stake in the petroleum business, so global warming makes obvious sense...
