Ponderings

If while being transported to the hospital their patient repeatedly rips an IV out of her arm in order to drink her own blood, should Da Kid present his paramedic supervisor with a necklace of garlic bulbs?

(Too late. He already did.)

Which is a better tactic for Barack and / or Hillary: Saying that it's all Dubya's fault that people can't pay their bills because the unemployment rate is a "staggering" 4-point-something, or that it's all Dubya's fault that people can't pay their bills since they can't find a job because there aren't any openings?

Why did Dingbat (The Wonder Horse) choose a day when the rain was falling in torrents and the weather alert radio going batshit to act colicy?

If the checks haven't even gone out for the first economic stimulus package yet, why is Harry Reid et al yammering that a second one is desperately needed immediately because the first one didn't work?

If buying ahead I pick up a onesy in newborn size that reads, "I'm hung like a five-year- old," am I going to be a bad grandmother?

(Too late. I already did and yes, it's he's going to be a ... well, a boy!)

When Barack and Hillary promise that if elected they're going to increase taxes but only on the wealthy, why won't they define "wealthy"?

When Barack and Hillary say that if elected they're going to increase taxes but only on the wealthy, are they signaling that in their eyes their constituency never will be because they're all losers?

If, as they claim, Hillary, Barack and McCain want to lessen our dependence on foreign oil, did they all flunk geography?

If the Dem's wanting to be president all want to keep Social Security from going bankrupt, instead of promising to modify or eliminate the income cap, why won't they vow to force Congress to stop spending the overage in FICA taxes collected from the peoples' paychecks and replacing the funds with IOUs?

If Warren Buffet says taxpayers should pay more because he can afford to, if I send him my name and address will he send me a check to help me pay mine?

If Bill and Hillary say taxpayers should pay more to help the needy because they can afford to, why won't they take those spare dollars of theirs and "adopt" a needy family or two, and leave the rest of us alone?

When saying they're voting for Barack because it's time a black became president but others say it's a female's turn so they're voting for Hillary, is anyone going to ask for a competency hearing on the Affirmative Action nutjobs?

When your 7-year-old computer that's still running on ME goes nuts (again) and you (still) can't fix it, is it better to take it to "Bob's" so you can (again) pay him to fix it for you or finally break down and start looking a new one?

(I'll be back.)
