Almost every day thirteen-year-old Chelsea Bennett tosses sticks into Colorado's Roaring Fork River for Zion, her family's two-year-old yellow Labrador retriever, to fetch.

Zion lost the stick in the river's cold, fast-moving water but brought back something else: eight-year-old Ryan Rambo.
